unc portrait photography – lauren’s graduation

Last week, I headed over to UNC in Chapel Hill to shoot some photos for Lauren, who has just graduated with a degree in Business and Dramatic Art. We started off at the Old Well where we took some traditional graduation portraits, before heading for a walk around campus looking for interesting light and areas to shoot some more experimental/dramatic stuff. Here are just a few of my faves from the shoot.

The final part of my triple-header of shoots last Sunday took me to my old stamping grounds in Cincinnati, OH. Ault Park to be precise. This place has a lot of great memories for me, including a certain office party almost 10 years ago where far too much alcohol was consumed and I ruined a perfectly good tuxedo. Yesterday, I had the immense pleasure of sharing my morning with little Abigail and her mum. Abbey was in a great mood, so we got some really nice shots. The only problem was cutting the number of photos down to a manageable number to edit!

twilight III – clay, emily and evan
Monday was a brilliant day for me as I got to follow up a really fun engagement shoot with a family session with my good friends Clay and Emily and their son Evan. The evening's events started off at Hap's Irish Pub, which was really apt as it was there that I first met up with Clay and Emily Bond almost 11 years ago. Clay and I used to work together and when I was shipped in from London with my old work friends Sean Grant (and his wife Jo) and Tracey McNabb, Clay and Emily were the people that set about making us feel welcome and essentially lining up entertainment for us on the weekends.
