OK 2025! Let’s do this!!
Here’s the first post of the year, and we have some catching up to do! This is Kyle & Abe’s beautiful Sutherland Estate wedding up in Wake Forest from the end of September. I really enjoy shooting weddings and bridal sessions at this 18th century venue as it is so full of olde worlde character and charm, which just lends itself to making interesting photos. I love these historic venues!
Of course, a photographer is only as good as their subjects and I have to say Kyle & Abe were a total joy to work with. We hit it off from the very outset and it seems the feeling was mutual. Here’s what Abe said when he took to Google to leave a review for me:
“PHENOMENAL wedding photographer! Every photo Joe takes is a work of art, and we have treasured the spectacular images he made for us. He has a great eye for capturing heartfelt moments, utilizing natural light, and working a scene. He is also a joy to work with, which is so important given how much time you will spend together on your wedding day.
Joe put in TONS of effort for our wedding. He delivered over a thousand fully edited, beautiful images; that truly blew us away. Because he invests so much time and effort into each wedding, he does only a limited number of weddings – so book him far in advance! It was the best investment we made.”
Thanks for the feedback and advice, Abe! I had a great time with the two of you documenting your big day. I wish you and Kyle all the very best for a long and happy life together!
And now, here are my first picks of the pics for 2025! Whittling it down from 1,000+ to a blog post was thigh, but here we go!
