day in/day out

Me Myself and Eye

It’s been a while since I just went out just shooting random stuff, so after spending the morning working at home, I got to go out and spend some time at the Indianapolis Zoo. My main goal originally was to go and hang out with the butterflies. They have a great selection there, and they are always pretty keen to sit around and pose. Plus the fact they are indoors means there is no wind to deal with, which can be a nightmare if you are trying to shoot macro images. Anyhow, I ventured outside to the gardens (which I had completely forgotten about) and it was a riot of colour. These are some of my fave shots from the day from the gardens. Butterflies to follow anon..

February and March have been hectic months with consultations, bookings and shoots going through the roof. As a result, I have not had much time to blog till today. I aim to get caught up over the next few days and bring you some of the good things that have been happening around here. For now, though, you'll need to make do with some more pics of the kids. They are growing fast and keeping us busy!! :)

Now maybe Charlotte and her mum will get a break...

getting out
One of the themes of the last few weeks since Natalia made her appearance has been that we have been spending a lot of time indoors. It's good timing really from her standpoint as she can't go out, so she might as well be locked up for the coldest time of the year. I'm pleased she is showing herself to be considerate from such an early age. Anyway. rather than posting a load of pics of us sitting around in our jim-jams watching Dora the Explorer for the Nth time, here are some pictures of our first couple of trips out of the house this past weekend. The temperature got up to the 70s Fahrenheit (that's 20s Celsius for our overseas friends) ...
